With the resignation of Barry Lewis on 16th May 2011 Committee Member John D Smith has stepped forward to resume the duties of Chairman until the Regional AGM later this year.

Committee response to Pension Fund Changes.

The committee met on 12 April 2010. Among matters discussed was ITL’s recent announcement regarding changes to the Pension Fund. The committee’s comments have been sent to the National Secretary, who is responding on behalf of IMPAC.

AGM Notes October 2009

The 2009 AGM was held on 20 October when member-elected Trustee, Robin Aspinall, addressed the meeting.
At the Committee Meeting held prior to the AGM Brian Fox was appointed Regional Secretary, succeeding Michael Staal who had taken on the position of National Secretary (Acting)
Since the AGM Neil Williams, ex Imperial Group HO, has been co-opted to the committee. Neil has a wide knowledge of pension matters through his current position as Finance Director of the Society of Radiographers.

Contact with members in the Region located outside the M25

Consultation with members living outside the M25 regarding the demand for local meetings is on going.
The responses from different areas are mixed and the feasability of arranging local meetings will be discussed at the next Council and Annual General Meetings.

Regional Annual General Meeting – Wednesday 24th October, 2007

The Annual General Meeting for the Region is to be held on Wednesday 24th October, 2007, in the early after noon.

It will be held at Friends House, Euston Road, London N.W.1., close to Euston Mainline and Underground Stations, and the Headquarters in England of the Quakers.

Those attending could quite well meet friends that they have not seen for a very long time.

Full details will be sent to all IMPAC memebers in the region about 4 weeks before the date.
