John Player Exhibition in Nottingham!

An exhibition is open to the public in The Brewhouse Yard Museum until 3rd July 2011.

During July there will be talks at Nottingham Castle about the history of John Player & Sons.

Postponed – Midland Region AGM

The Midland Region AGM scheduled for 7th January 2010 at the Wollaton Park
Community Association on Harrow Road, Wollaton, Nottingham NG8 1FG at 10:30
am. has been postponed because of the weather.

It will now be held on the 8th April 2010 in conjunction with the Open
Meeting.

Recruitment Trophy 2008/9

At the Annual General Meeting held on the 20th May 2009 the Midland Region Recruitment Officer, Neil Tilson, received the Recruitment Trophy from Michael Smedley. The Trophy was awarded for achieving the highest percentage of new members recruited between May 2008 and 2009.

This is the third successive year that Midland Region have won the Recruitment Trophy.

New Meeting Venue

After looking at alternatives it is decided to use the Wollaton Park Community Association on Harrow Road, Wollaton, Nottingham NG8 1FG.
The next Open Meeting, after the PFCC in London, is on the revised date of Thursday 26th March at 10:30 am.
If you access the Google Maps or other software for location the post code is NG8 1FG. Up to date SATNAV software will get you there.
Access is only off Ilkeston Road (towards Wollaton) off Crown island on the outer ring road. This is the bus stop location.
Please advise anyone you know about the new venue.
